It´s been years Since I posted anything new, damn I´m so freaking lazy while it comes to internet...
anyway, Rex Mundi is long time finished, as I write this I guess the last trade (vol 6) is being shipped to the comic stores.
Right now I´m working coloring the last Solomon Kane miniseries from Dark Horse. Script Scott Allie and pencils and ink by Mario Guevara. I also did a cover for The Guild (issue 3).
But my main frame of work is with a new creator owned project for France, yes I´m doing a BD!! I studied french for like 10 years or more while I was in school and I always loved la BD (bande dessiné)
I´m working for Soleil and the project is called "3 sorcieres" with writes Nicolas Pona.
I´m almost finishg the first album.

Rainbow Maker.

I entered a new Radiohead video Contest. I don't have high expectations on this one due to the fact that I started late on it, the competition is high, I haven't touched an animation program or made an animation in 6 years and I also "burned" my Radiohead luck with the last competition I won.
Having said that, it was a pleasure doing it, to do something different for a change and with out any pressure and just for myself was awesome, working on a great Radiohead song that I love wasn't bad either.

Wow, I havent posted here in a while, I've been pretty busy with Rex Mundi and now with coloring a five issue miniseries for Dark Horse, called, Conan and the midnight God, yeah, Conan! written by Joshua Dysart, and drawn by Will Conrad, I started coloring issue 3 already, issue 1 is out now and issue 2 probably next week or the following, not sure.

I also took a trip to the states so that made me get behind on everything.

Ok, enough chatting here is a cover I did for the next Rex Mundi trade, vol 4, with all the interior art made by me, yay!

I finished the first issue that will see light through Dark Hrose comics, I had to work a lot because I had a tight deadline, I'm usally supposed to finish each issue in 2 months , but for this one I only had 1, and doing it all is exausting.
so here is a page from that issue to celebrate.

it comes out on august, so check it out, I think I'll have 4 books out that month, uff!

Here I tried something different, I drew the layouts for the page as always, then I scanned it and worked the building and garden using Photoshop with my Wacom, but as you can see on the second picture the result was a very stiff and computer generated image that looked odd and too clean, so I printed the drawing and I started messing with it with pencils and water colors, when I scanned it again, it ended looking a lot better and more organic like.

then I added the guns at the bottom and later I finished the second panel in a regular fashion, but to see the complete page you'll have to buy the book. ;)
